90 Dordt College students and farmers attended an evening field day on August 31 focused on results from several projects Dordt College is experimenting on their college’s farm. Chris Goedhart from Dordt pulled together a nice handout of the results of many projects Dordt is involved in. See the agenda, discussion topics and results in the next several pictures.

In addition PFI Staffer Rich Schuler spoke about an energy study between PFI and Dordt focused on measuring the energetic differences between a corn on corn and a corn soybean oat/red clover system. And the differences in the amount of bio-fuel produced between both systems. A slide of the preliminary results is also available.
