Just found this excellent video on the web about the difficult question: How can you keep the farm together when Mom, the farmland owner, is gone? This case, like so many, involves one child farming and his siblings who are not farming.

Tom and Irene Franzten, and their son James, will be sharing their story about tackling these same issues, at the Practical Farmers of Iowa annual conference Jan. 13-14.
