Description/Topics:

The Farm:

Dana Norby farms with his brothers Randy and Steve. They started no-tilling soybeans on a limited basis in 1992. By the late 1990s, all the soybean acres were switched to no-till. The brothers started strip-tilling some corn in 2000 and by 2004 all of their corn acres were switched to strip-till. They use full-width tillage only where there are leveling issues.

Directions:

From Osage: Travel west on Highway 9 about five miles to county road T-26; south on T-26 two miles to 340th Street, then east about 1/2 mile to 1635.
