About 350 acres near Alta and 480 acres near Pocahontas. The farm includes corn on about 50% of tillable acres and soybeans on the other half, a 15 head cow/calf operation and a pig enterprise not afloat yet (possibly 2 sets of 19 sows each with 4 boars).
From the east: Take Hwy 7 west from Alta a few miles to Co Rd M27; go south 1.25 miles, then head west on 580th St. about 2/3 of a mile. The farm has a 1/4-mile-long lane on the north side of the road. From the west: Take Hwy 7 East from Aurelia to Co Rd M27, then follow directions from that point, as above. From the north or south: Find Co Rd M27, then follow instructions as above.
