You are invited to the 2026 Iowa Farmers of Color Conference, hosted by Iowa Farmers of Color. This full day event is an opportunity for farmers of color, from all enterprises throughout the Midwest to connect with other farmers of color and participate in educational programming relevant to their unique needs.
This gathering brings farmers, agricultural organizations and community members together for a day of connection, learning and collective action. Hear firsthand stories from farmers of color and community leaders about establishing farms, building strong organizations, and creating lasting opportunities for farmers and their communities.
Throughout the day, participants will explore civic engagement, farm resiliency, business structures, mechanization, collective models and strategies for strengthening networks and markets. The conference will close with an opportunity to learn about the Iowa Farmers of Color team’s strategic planning and share ideas, perspectives and priorities for the future. Come ready to learn, build relationships and contribute to a stronger agricultural community.
