Michael Vittetoe farms with his family near Washington, Iowa, where they grow corn, soybeans, cereal rye, hogs and cattle. The Vittetoes have a dynamic operation continuously learning how to best steward their land and optimize profitability. At this field day, you’ll get a closer look at how the Vittetoes use no-till, strip-till, cover crops, soil balancing and nutrition management on their corn and soybean acres. Michael will also walk us out to a field of soybeans in crimped, twin-row cereal rye and showcase the seeding and rolling equipment used.
