Events FAQs

No, our events are open to everyone, even if you are not currently a PFI member.
Most of our events are free to attend, though there is a fee to attend our conferences. PFI members do receive discounted registration rates for these events.
Yes, Practical Farmers of Iowa events are open to farmers from any location! We often host events in neighboring states as well.
Our staff are always on the lookout for farmers willing to share about their practices, ideas and yet-unsolved challenges. If you have an idea for a good farmer-speaker, including yourself, let us know!
All attendees must refrain from conduct that a reasonable person would view as threatening, intimidating, or likely to cause physical harm to any person or damage to property, or that materially disrupts the event. The organizer may deny admission to, or require the immediate departure of, any person who violates this commitment or refuses to comply with reasonable directions from event staff or farmer-host intended to protect safety or maintain order.
