Membership Interest(Required)

Access — Individuals who are current students, beginning or retired farmers, and others on fixed or limited incomes are welcome to join at just $25 per year.

Individual — Experience all the benefits of PFI for only $50 per year.

Farm or Household — All household family members and farm employees can join under one membership for just $75 annually.

Organization — For businesses, agencies and departments, up to five employees may receive all the benefits of PFI for $150 annually.

Gifting a Membership — A gift of membership in Practical Farmers is a gift of knowledge and community. If you’d like to start a membership for a friend, neighbor, or family member, please use the link below.

Donating Online — Individuals who are current students, beginning or retired farmers, and others on fixed or limited incomes are welcome to join at just $25 per year.

Donating by Mail — Print the donation form below and mail it, along with a check, to: Practical Farmers of Iowa, 1615 Golden Aspen Dr., Suite 101, Ames, IA 50010.

Donation Through DAF — A donor-advised fund is centralized charitable account.

Leave a Legacy — Making a planned gift to Practical Farmers can direct your dollars to sustainable agriculture (not taxes), simplify your estate plans – and perhaps increase your income.

Gifts of Grain — Gifting grain directly to Practical Farmers (rather than selling the grain and making a gift from the proceeds) may provide farm operators with more significant tax savings.

Endowment — An endowment is a charitable gift investment fund. The principal is invested in perpetuity; up to 5% of balance can be paid out on an annual basis.
