Location

RSVP

Robert Broulik farms with his son, Luke, and son-in-law, Tim Keegan. Robert is a longtime advocate for no-till and one of the first adopters in his area. No-till and investment in waterway protection are at the core of their row crop operation. To ensure the most accurate use of nutrients, they routinely run on-farm nitrogen and population trials and use precision technology. They also use cover crops, saturated buffers, terraces and a bioreactor.

Most of the field day will focus on where Robert, Luke and Tim invest their time and attention – sensible equipment for no-till, reducing inputs, conserving soil and protecting water. They’ll also discuss how they are instilling the importance of conservation in the next generation. Last, we’ll visit their new cattle barn completed with federal Environmental Quality Incentives Program funds.

Meal

A light lunch will follow the field day.
