Sheep work, hay baling, chores, data collection, and general farm maintenance.
Training Opportunities
Training aligned with work activities and trainee interests.
Minimum Qualifications
Able to work regularly, lift feed bags, handle livestock, and operate equipment.
Desired Skills
Communication skills, livestock experience, and recordkeeping ability.

Trainer Experience: I was a teacher for 42 years and have mentored several young farmer helpers on my farm over the years.
About the Farm
We raise sheep, chickens, garlic, hay and Kernza. I rent out 50 acres for row crops. No-till, cover crops, paddock grazing, prairie strips, terraces, edge-of-field practices. Garlic, lamb & Kernza: Iowa Food Coop and other local markets.
