About the Trainers
Mike Salama
Trainer Experience: I've been doing this my whole life as it's a family business. However, I officially purchased it from my parents in 2014, so a little over ten years as an owner operator.
About the Farm
We are in Boone, Iowa. Approximately 20 miles from Ames, Iowa and 40 miles from Des Moines, Iowa. We are a full garden center selling ornamental plants, seasonal bedding plants, house plants, seasonal flowering plants, trees and shrubs, perennials, and cut flowers. We are in the beginning stages of doing some outdoor production and agrotourism.
We believe that health and happiness are the fundamentals that everyone is seeking. Good health is the foundation for a happier life in which a healthy individual is capable of achieving anything. If you are not healthy, then you are not happy, and if you are not happy, then a change needs to be made.
We exist to produce plant products to contribute to the health and overall wellness of our community and environment. We exist to empower and educate our consumers to make healthier decisions for the body, mind and spirit.
