You are invited to the 2026 Iowa Farmers of Color Conference, hosted by Iowa Farmers of Color. This full-day event is an opportunity for farmers of color from any enterprise throughout the Midwest to connect with each other and learn about topics relevant to their needs.
This gathering brings farmers, agricultural organizations and community members together for a day of connection, learning and collective action. Hear firsthand stories from farmers and community leaders about establishing farms, building strong organizations and creating lasting opportunities for farmers and their communities.
Throughout the day, participants will explore civic engagement, farm resiliency, business structures, mechanization, collective models and strategies for strengthening networks and markets. The conference will close with an opportunity to learn about the Iowa Farmers of Color team’s strategic planning and share ideas, perspectives and priorities for the future. Come ready to learn, build relationships and contribute to a stronger agricultural community.
