Leave your legacy on the future of farming by including Practical Farmers of Iowa in your farm transfer or estate plans. Your gift will provide farmers with the resources and support they need to build resilient farms and communities for generations to come.
Gifts of Land and Real Estate
PFI was built on the principle that farmers are the experts. Since 1985, we have equipped them with the knowledge and support to make their own decisions. With that concept in mind, our focus in accepting land donations will be on transferring autonomy, ownership or both to farmers, who will steward the land for future generations.
Because each land donation and landowner's legacy and goals are unique, we will evaluate each opportunity individually. While we may hold some land long-term, our focus will be on creating innovative ways to transfer land ownership to farmers whose values are in line with PFI's values.
