Event Overview

Nan Bonfils and Don Adams created Full Circle Farm in 1992 by blending their 100 acres with 200 contiguous acres belonging to Don’s dad. They transitioned the farm to organic and increased farm stewardship while they direct-marketed forage-fed beef. They mentored interns, bartered and rented land to beginning farmers, and sold their herd to a second-generation PFI farmer. Protecting land with conservation easements has been a key piece of their farm transition plans.

Join PFI in recognizing Nan and Don for their efforts to provide land access and long-term conservation on farmland they've stewarded near Boone, Iowa. The event will start with lunch and a reception, followed by a presentation by Don and Nan that showcases their farm and transition efforts. It will conclude with an award ceremony. Attendees can drive a mapped loop to view the corridor of wildlife protection made possible by their efforts.
