Event Overview
In 1997, Harry Cope started adding regenerative practices into his fourth-generation farm near Truxton, Missouri. This included rotationally grazing in diverse pasture and grass-finishing cattle. Recently, Harry has been experimenting with making silage from a mix of red clover and native grass, after which he plants milo to stockpile-graze in the winter or chop for pig feed.
Harry is also excited to show the new mulberry silvopasture he has established for his pigs and to add wildlife habitat. Come learn how Harry is mixing all these efforts, and more, to create diverse and healthy options for his customers as well as the soil.
