Event Overview
Six years ago, Scott Haase started to manage a 100-acre portion of his family’s land near Blue Earth, Minnesota, as Blue Dirt Farm. He had two key goals in mind: to produce good food while contributing positively to the land and water. To that end, Scott has been raising pigs and turkeys in wooded pasture. He has also started using virtual fencing with his cattle. His key to success is using minimal infrastructure and keeping it as portable as possible. Come learn how Scott is trying to raise animals in ways that let them express their natural instincts while letting the land provide.
