Eligibility
These free consultations are for established or aspiring livestock farmers interested in taking their management to the next level – whether that's grazing for the first time, rotating multiple times per day, balancing rations, or running enterprise analyses on different systems. Margaret's specialty is ruminants, but she will also facilitate calls (or find an expert) for monogastrics and poultry.
What to Expect
Consults will vary depending on the situation. They start with an initial phone call or virtual visit, and might be followed with additional calls or even site visit. Come prepared to describe your situation, goals, and resources; livestock, pasture, and facilities inventory; and any other relevant information.
