Austrian winter peas in Iowa?

Has anyone tried: Austrian winter peas planted following soybeans in the fall and then no-till drilled corn into the living mulch in the spring and then burn-down the pea plants? Or killed peas using tillage and then immediately planted corn?

How good is Austrian winter pea winter survival in Iowa?
