An energetic audience of beginning farmers listened in to experienced farmer Mike Gooder of Stone Creek Farms/Plant Peddler of Cresco, IA. Joining Mike was his customer, Phil Danowsky of Local Harvest Supply, a local food aggregator distributor based out of Coralville, IA working with more than 20 growers from all over Iowa.

Mike Gooder has more than three decades experience in agriculture to share with beginning farmers and provides some excellent methods and business planning strategies to consider for entrepreneurs interested in producing and marketing food.

Also included are tips for packaging, food safety, sorting/sizing products, and more.
