Farmer owned and operated, Bill Frederick and James Holz started Iowa Cover Crop in 2014 with a commitment to positively contribute to their local community and Iowa agriculture. Based in Jefferson, Iowa, Bill and James started selling rye, oats and wheat. Now a full service cover crop business, Iowa Cover Crop offers cover crop seed and application, native seeds and grasses and a network of fifteen farmer dealers across the Midwest.

In this video, Bill shares the story of Iowa Cover Crop and encouragement for other farmers looking to diversify their operations.
