Explore Farming Series
Aspiring farmers should plan to attend the Explore Farming workshop series to take their ideas and vision into reality. This series will feature four virtual workshops followed by opportunities to connect with landowners seeking new farmers for their farmland. Each workshop will walk you through the next steps to starting your business plan. You will leave this series with an action plan to make your dream a reality.
Thursday, Jan. 7 | 6:30-8 pm CST
Purpose: Identify your drive to farm and how you can apply that to your action plan.
Thursday, Jan. 14 | 6:30-8 pm CST
Product: Determine what you plan to produce and how to sell it.
Thursday, Feb. 11 | 6:30-8 pm CST
Place: Understand your land access needs and resources.
Thursday, March 11 | 6:30-8 pm CST
People: Build your network and increase your connections.
