The Practical Farmers of Iowa Annual Conference will be held Jan. 9-10, 2026 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Iowa Events Center is conveniently located directly off the I-80/I-35 interstate system in Downtown Des Moines. The conference activities will be held on Level 3 of the facility, with same-level parking and loading zones (including a loading dock), and a same-level indoor skywalk system.

The exhibit booths are interspersed among the classrooms throughout the venue, with most exhibitors located on the grand concourse. Exhibitor spaces will be assigned with top priority given to higher level sponsors and earlier registrants.

New this year: The conference has expanded to cover two entire days, both Friday and Saturday! Exhibitors will now get even more time with attendees! Exhibitor set up will be available on Thursday, Jan. 8, and the morning of Jan. 9, with attendee registration beginning at 9 a.m. on Jan. 9.

As usual, the PFI conference experience includes a wide range of farmer-led educational content and plenty of time for making meaningful connections: 60-plus sessions, one thousand attendees, 90-plus exhibitors, and many fun activities. Important Dates

Oct. 9: Registration deadline for Level A, B and Premium Sponsors to be listed in the 7,000 printed copies of our pre-conference brochure

Dec. 5: Registration deadline for all exhibitors to be listed in the exhibitor directory in attendees’ conference program

Dec. 23: Final deadline for exhibitor registration and submitting exhibitor attendee names. Exhibit hall map will be finalized and sent to all exhibiting organizations

Jan. 8: Preconference “short courses” are held at the Iowa Event Center for attendees who purchased short course tickets

*Exhibitors may set up between 2 and 6 p.m. on Jan. 8.

Jan. 9-10: Practical Farmers of Iowa Conference begins! Exhibitor set up continues from 7-9 a.m. on January 9. The exhibit hall opens to attendees at 9 a.m. on January 9.
