Chad and Wendy Petersen farm corn, soybeans and a cow-calf operation in Northeast Iowa. Recently they have started a new cover crop seeding business, Venture Ag as well as a custom chemical business for local farmers. Chad and Wendy are passionate about expanding cover crops on the landscape and have seen growth in their business as more farmers integrate soil health practices on their farms. Chad has seen a reduction in erosion on his farm as well as an increase in water filtration in the soil profile while limiting inputs and raising yields. Chad is eager to share the basics of integrating cover crops into your farm system and troubleshoot common questions pertaining to management and financials. Join us for this educational event!

Also speaking: Jerry Havill, Rob Badpram
