About Ryan: Ryan Schmidt grew up near Keswick in southeast Iowa hunting and fishing on the family farms, all while learning about and developing a keen interest in and passion for Iowa’s outdoors. Ryan is land stewardship director for Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and works to protect and restore Iowa’s natural areas.
