Rotational Pasture Series: Goat Paddock Moves

Starting a pasture rotational system can be challenging. In this three-part series, you will meet three farmers who have spent their beginning farming years creating processes to make a regenerative pasture system work for their farms.
In part 3, we’ll learn about fencing – which is a key part of developing a rotational grazing system. Adam will show us how he uses temporary electric netting to rotate his Kiko goats through new pastures. He will also demonstrate how he plans a paddock move and show some easy steps to setting up temporary fencing.

The Farm: Adam Ledvina started raising goats six years ago and has since started two businesses, Iowa Kiko Goats and Blue Collar Goatscaping. Adam also works for Red Earth Gardens, the Meskwaki Nation farm located in Tama, Iowa.
