Practical Farmers of Iowa is excited to host “PFI Member Day at the Iowa State Fair.” Many PFI staff will attend and we look forward to seeing long-time members and meeting newer ones. How will we find each other? From 8-11 a.m., PFI staff will be outside the fairgrounds near Gate 8 (along Dean Avenue) and near Gate 2 (along University Avenue), handing out free PFI T-shirts to members. Explore the fair with other PFI members and staff, then meet at noon for a group photo in front of the Agriculture Building.

RSVPs are appreciated by Monday, July 15 to guarantee a T-shirt. Sign up online, by emailing katie.aupperle@practicalfarmers.org or by calling (515) 232-5661. If you’d like to pick up your T-shirt early, please stop by the PFI office in Ames after Aug. 5 during business hours (9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
