Mike and Kara Dickinson own and operate Mike Dickinson Farms near Logan, Iowa, growing corn and soybeans, raising a cow-calf herd and running a commercial broiler chicken operation called East Valley Poultry. After farming part-time for 12 years, Mike dove into farming full-time in 2019 and started a custom cover crop application business called CoverPro 365 with business partner, Mark Unruh.
Together, they have been focusing on scaling up their seeding applications with seed from Iowa Cover Crop to make cover crops more accessible for large-scale farms. Come learn how to grow a cover crop seeding business, see the seeding equipment Mark and Mike use and explore Mike’s fertilizer management and cover crop strategies on his own farm.
