Kelley O’Neill has been working with sheep, cattle, goats, poultry – and wildlife – since the 1970s. Cindy Wolf taught at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota for 35 years. Together, they farm in the Minnesota Driftless region, focusing on stewarding the land with care by “sensibly” grazing their sheep on permanent pasture. Come learn how the O’Neill family and crew tries to make a grass-based system work financially and for soil health through a focus on genetics and careful management. From experiments with mob-stocking to winter stockpiling, Kelley says he’s spent years “pushing on strings” so you can learn what works and what doesn’t.
