Lifetime PFI members Mark and Melanie Peterson farm about 500 acres of corn and soybeans at Bent Gate Farm near Stanton, Iowa, and are among PFI’s top cover crop champions. Mark is a past board president of PFI and served on PFI’s board of directors for nine years. Mark and Melanie are in the process of renting and transferring some of their acres to their son, Monroe, as he expands his hay business. Come and discuss cover crop successes, challenges, bright ideas and what we can leave for the next generation.
Lunch will follow the field day.
