The Art of Grass-Finishing Cattle
Saturday, Sept. 5 | 2:15 – 3:15 p.m.
Jamie Hostetler, of Rolling Meadows Farm in Bellevue, is a local expert in grass-finishing beef. On this call, Jamie will walk through the dos and dont’s of finishing; discuss how to optimize cattle gain; and explain the key visuals to look for on a grass-finished animal. Jamie will also discuss grass-finished markets and economic opportunities, sharing how he profited $500 per acre from selling his cattle to an out-of-state market.
