This full day event is an opportunity for farmers of color, from all enterprises, throughout the Midwest to connect with other farmers of color and participate in educational programming relevant to their unique needs.
This is an Iowa Farmers of Color event. Iowa Farmers of Color is a group currently in the formation stage, founded by Shaffer Ridgeway and Todd Western III and open to all farmers and service providers.
Lunch will be provided.
Join us on Dec. 5 for a screening of Farming While Black. We will come together at Harvest Vineyard Church (320 S 17th St, Ames, IA) at 7 p.m. the evening before the 2025 Iowa Farmers of Color Conference to watch the film, enjoy refreshments and hear from a panel of farmers after the screening.
There is a hotel across the street from Harvest Vineyard Church in Ames. For convenience, we recommend booking your hotel stay at the Marriot Courtyard in Ames, Iowa.
