Midwest Meat Summit
About the summit
Happening just ahead of Practical Farmers of Iowa's Annual Conference, the inaugural Midwest Meat Summit brings together every part of the meat supply chain to learn, network and build community.
Farmers, butchers and industry experts are invited to nearly two days of technical and business assistance, valuable speaker sessions and ample time to mingle and connect.
The summit is part of a national series of events dedicated to supporting meat value chains, from the pasture to the plate. Join us for food and fellowship!
Event Schedule
The agenda features concurrent tracks oriented towards farmers and processors, though the information is relevant to all. Speakers and sessions include regenerative supply chain management, food safety research and updates, marketing, farmer-to-processor communication, and the latest trends in online sales strategies.
Curbside Consultations
This event is part of a national series of meat summit events, a hallmark of which is the opportunity to visit one-on-one with industry experts and technical advisors. Most of our speakers will be offering 15-30 minute sessions, which you can sign up for at the summit, to address individual questions from attendees.
PFI Annual Conference
This summit will be held just ahead of the Practical Farmers of Iowa Annual Conference on Jan. 10-11. Learn more and register.
