A blog about a blog
By Sally Worley
Claire Runquist, PFI member, recently graduated from Marshalltown High School, and is attending Macalester College in the Twin Cities this fall. However, Claire is not spending her summer packing for college. She received an internship with the World Food Prize Foundation to spend eight weeks working at AVRDC – The World Vegetable Center in Patancheru, Hyderabad, India. Her work will focus on nutrition and family gardens.
Like her parents, Linda Barnes and Mark Runquist (http://www.highhopesgardens.com/), Claire has started a blog to share her experience with the world.
Visit Claire Goes to India to read about Claire’s experience.
Congratulations, Claire!
