Register for PFI’s CSA Mini-school Dec. 13-14 in Montour, Iowa

By Liz Kolbe

Practical Farmers of Iowa is hosting a two-day mini-school for producers interested in starting or improving their CSA business and production methods. Farms of all sizes and experience levels are invited to the Pilgrim Heights Retreat Center to learn from our invited mini-school leaders and each other.

Mini-school leaders: Rebecca Graff of Fair Share Farm in Kearney, Mo., Tim Landgraf of One Step at a Time Gardens in Kanawa, Iowa, and Steve Pincus of Tipi Produce in Evansville, Wis.

Bunk-style housing and all meals for the two days are included with your registration. We will start at 8:30 Friday morning and conclude Saturday at 5:00.

The CSA Mini-school is FREE for PFI members, $50 for non-members.

Contact Liz Kolbe to register or ask questions. Registration is open until Nov. 29, but bunk space may be limited – register early!
