The inaugural Midwest Meat Summit will be held Jan. 9-10, 2025, at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Iowa Events Center is conveniently located just off the intersection of I-35 and I-80 in Des Moines.
The summit will bring together every part of the meat supply chain to learn, network and build community. Farmers, butchers and industry experts will convene for nearly two days of technical and business assistance, valuable speaker sessions and ample time to mingle and connect.
This summit is part of a national series of events dedicated to supporting meat value chains, from the pasture to the plate. Join us for food and fellowship!

This year’s Summit takes place just ahead of Practical Farmers of Iowa’s Annual Conference, alongside their pre-conference short courses. We expect 150+ at the Midwest Meat Summit and another 1,000 attendees to the PFI conference.

Oct. 10: Registration deadline for getting your logo into the pre-conference brochure is Oct. 10.
Dec. 5: Registration deadline for being included in the summit program exhibitor directory.
Jan. 2: Final deadline for exhibitor registration.
Jan. 9-10: Midwest Meat Summit is held at the Iowa Event Center. Exhibitor set up is from 8-11 a.m. on Jan. 9. The Meat Summit exhibit hall opens to attendees at 11 a.m. on Jan. 9.
