For farmers raising pigs – which are resourceful animals that can use a wide range of feed sources – taking advantage of these by-products, often available at little to no cost, can help reduce feed costs and add varied sources of nutrition to pigs’ diets.

After a brief hiatus for the holidays, farminars are scheduled to return in early 2019. The first farminar of the winter series will take place on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.
