Starting or renewing a Practical Farmers membership is easy and takes just a few minutes. You can even purchase a membership as a gift for a friend, neighbor, or family member.
Membership Levels
Access: Individuals who are current students, beginning or retired farmers, and others on fixed or limited incomes are welcome to join at just $25 per year.
Individual: Experience all the benefits of PFI for only $50 per year.
Farm or Household: All household family members and farm employees can join under one membership for just $75 annually.
Lifetime: Individuals or families can make a lifetime commitment for a single payment of $1,200. This membership terminates with the primary members. Excludes organizations. Learn more about lifetime membership.
Organization: For businesses, agencies and departments, up to five employees may receive all the benefits of PFI for $150 annually.

Pay online
The quickest way to start or renew a membership in Practical Farmers is to pay by credit card using our secure online system. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Lifetime Membership
A lifetime membership with Practical Farmers of Iowa gives you the same benefits as a yearly membership, but it is a one- time payment of $1,200 and ensures your membership never lapses.
