Bryan White joined Practical Farmers of Iowa in November 2024 as the office and IT manager. His responsibilities include working with the operations team to ensure that PFI’s staff have the physical and technological resources to comfortably serve our members.
Bryan received bachelor’s degrees from Iowa State University in sociology and political science. While at ISU, he interned in the Iowa House of Representatives and Iowa governor’s office. His work there included helping to increase access to healthcare services in rural Iowa and early work on the Home Base Iowa program helping veterans find careers within Iowa. Bryan then earned a graduate certificate in public policy from Drake University, where he worked on a campus-wide cancer research project to identify where support was needed for patients and their families.
Prior to joining PFI, Bryan worked as a manager in the grocery industry and, most recently, as a facilities manager for a mental healthcare organization in Des Moines. Bryan currently serves on the Historic Preservation Board for the City of Boone, Iowa.
Outside of work, Bryan is involved in many hobbies, including participating in classic car shows, woodworking, traveling, going to concerts and attending sporting events with his wife, Jess.
