Cory Gamble joined the Practical Farmers of Iowa staff in August 2024 as a field crops viability coordinator. He brings a passion for soil health, which makes him well-suited to assist farmers with PFI’s cover crop cost-share programs, as well as guide them in cover crop agronomic planning that fits their specific farm plan.
Cory grew up on a family farm in Iowa and earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Horticulture with a minor in Insect Science. Upon graduating, Cory continued his education, earning a certified crop advisor certificate and learning different farming techniques while living in Hawaii, California and Oregon. He looks forward to building upon his knowledge of organic production using natural soil amendments, bio-stimulants and cover crops.
Cory loves to play golf and spend time doing outdoor activities with his family and children.
