Join us for a social at Luna Valley Farm to gather around wood-fired pizza and get to know beginning farmers near you. Luna Valley Farm is a destination for heritage breed pork, grass fed lamb and grass fed beef.

Join us at Geyer Farm to learn more about PFI and Dave and Anna Geyer’s new agroforestry enterprise at Geyer Farm. Stay for local snacks and conversation with other beginning farmers in your area.

The Beginning Farmer Social at Groundswell Cafe follows the community farm tour at Matthew 25. This social is a great chance to meet other growers in the Cedar Rapids area. Join us for some refreshments and conversation about farming at the beginner level.

The Beginning Farmer Social at the Barreras Family Farm follows the Pastured Eggs 101 field day. This social is hosted by Mariel Barreras on their acreage in Blair, Nebraska.
