Join Us for Small Grains Shared Learning Calls
Small grains shared learning calls are conference calls where you can listen and talk with other farmers and small grains enthusiasts. Each month our speaker(s) share experiences and production practices for 40 minutes, and then we open the floor for questions and discussion for the rest of the hour. Shared learning calls usually take place on the first Friday of the month from noon – 1 p.m.
We use Zoom to host these virtual events. To participate in shared learning calls, you can either join by phone or computer.

KWS Cover+™: A New Market Opportunity for Hybrid Rye
Hybrid cereal rye, a product of KWS, has a growing following among farmers, typically yielding over 100 bushel/acre and requiring few crop protectants. The only crop marketed with the KWS brand, it now has a new market opportunity: cover crop seed via the KWS Cover+TM program.
Featured speaker Becca Brattain is the country manager for KWS Cereals whose work expands small grains production and use across North America with a focus on hybrid rye and its role in livestock diets. In this small grains shared learning call, Becca will share about hybrid rye, KWS and the new Cover+ Initiative.
